The Start-athon proudly collaborates with a diverse range of partners who share our vision of advancing the Web3 ecosystem.

Bounties

Introduction:

The Start-athon Bounty Program is designed to foster the development of innovative decentralized applications (dApps) in Web3, leveraging the infrastructure and community of Metis. The program is divided into two main tracks:

Global Track Program:

Open to developers worldwide, this track encourages the creation of dApps with a focus on stablecoins, cross-chain functionality, tokenization, and community-driven projects.

Local Track Program:

In collaboration with our incubation partners in Asia (Thailand, South Korea, Vietnam, Japan), local bounties will focus on regional market needs and innovations. Each partner will bring in at least five projects, all of which are more advanced and not suited for beginners in the Web3 space.

About Hackathon

Description:

The Start-athon is a groundbreaking initiative by Metis and Thrive, designed to invigorate the Web3 ecosystem by identifying and accelerating innovative projects. As the first of its kind in the Web3 space, this seasonal series aims to connect talented developers, especially from emerging markets, with the resources and mentorship they need to transform their ideas into impactful and decentralized solutions.

Vision:

To empower innovative projects and foster a thriving ecosystem by providing a streamlined pathway for funding and support through the Start-athon. Our goal is to identify, nurture, and accelerate groundbreaking ideas globally, ensuring they receive the resources and mentorship needed to succeed and transform the landscape of Web3 technology. By leveraging Metis’s infrastructure and community, we aim to drive worldwide collaboration and innovation within the decentralized space.

Mission:

Create a dynamic community of entrepreneurs, offering opportunities for collaboration, talent acquisition, and project acceleration through the Start-athon. By aligning projects with grants and mentorship, we strive to build a thriving global Web3 ecosystem.
