In today's guide, we'll walk you through the process of adding the Metis Andromeda Mainnet to your Web3 wallet, enabling you to seamlessly engage in sending, buying, and bridging cryptocurrencies on the Metis Network. There are two methods to add Metis to Metamask. You can either add Metis to your Metamask manually on Metamask or use Chainlist. The simplest way to do it is by using Chainlist. In this article, we will guide you on how to add Metis to your Metamask through both methods.
Choice 1 - Connect via Chainlist
Chainlist is a blockchain and cryptocurrency directory that helps users find new projects, tools, and services. You can also use Chainlist to connect to other blockchain networks as well.
Step 1 – Log in to your Metamask wallet.
Step 2 - Visit the Chainlist website www.chainlist.org
Step 3 - Enter "Metis" in the search bar, following the example below. You'll spot Metis on the site. Alternatively, you can use this link to find Metis directly without using the search bar: https://chainlist.org/chain/1088
Step 4 - Click on the “Connect Wallet” button and follow the prompts on your Metamask to connect to Chianlist and allow Metis to be added to your wallet.
And now you should see Metis appear on your Metamask wallet!
Step 1 – Log in to your Metamask wallet.
Step 2 – Select the network on the top left corner and click “Add Network”
Step 3 - Check out the variety of networks listed on this page if you can't find Metis, no worries! Look for the "Add network manually" button, usually positioned at the bottom of the list, as shown in the image below.
