Binance Wallet METIS Deposit Campaign Tutorial

Campaign Period: 2025-01-21 15:00 (UTC) to 2025-02-11 15:00 (UTC).

Campaign Rule: Deposit at least 1 METIS token through Artemis using your Binance Wallet and verify in the campaign landing page.

NOTE: The tokens Deposited can only be withdrawn 21 days after the deposit.

You are free to Deposit multiple times. To be eligible for rewards, the total METIS Deposited for a wallet should be larger than 1 METIS. A snapshot of the final Deposited amount will be taken on 2025-02-11 at 15:00 (UTC) for reward distribution.

After each staking action, you will receive artMETIS tokens, which will remain locked for 21 days. Even if you Deposited on the 20-th day of the campaign, the lock period for the artMetis tokens will be 21 days.

Staking actions are independent; if you Deposit twice, once on the first day of the campaign, another on the last day of the campaign, the unlocking times of the actions are different.

Rewards Distribution: The $300,000 in $METIS prize pool will be split, with $100,000 in $METIS shared equally among eligible users and $200,000 in $METIS distributed proportionally based on total Deposits.

To promote fairness in distribution and encourage participants with lower amounts, we are implementing the following restrictions:

• The total number of winners will be capped at 50,000, selected randomly from eligible participants.
• Each participant's total reward will be limited to $5,000.

For example, Bob Deposits 1 METIS token, Alice Deposits 50 METIS token. The total number of eligible participants is 1,000, with a total of 2,000 METIS tokens Deposited. After the campaign, the rewards will be distributed as below:

Both Bob and Alice will receive 1/1,000 * $100,000 = $100 from the equally-distributed rewards.

Bob will receive 1/2,000 * $200,000 = $100 and Alice will receive 50/2,000 * $200,000 = $5,000 from the proportionally-distributed rewards.

In total, Bob will receive $100 + 100$ = $200, Alice’s reward will be $100 + $5,000 = $5,100. However, due to the cap, Alice’s total reward will be limited to $5,000.

1. What is Metis?

Metis Andromeda is a layer 2 blockchain and a scalability solution on the Ethereum network. Metis Andromeda is the first layer 2 running a decentralized sequencer, which achieves full decentralization, eliminates single points of failure, and properly aligns incentives across all network participants.

Metis token (METIS) is the native token of Metis Andromeda. Transactions on Metis Andromeda are paid for with Metis gas. Metis token is also an ERC-20 governance token used for staking, and other purposes within the Metis ecosystem.

2. What is Artemis Finance?

Artemis Finance is the largest liquid staking and 2nd largest TVL protocol designed for Metis Decentralised Sequencer Pools. At the time, there are more than 250k METIS Deposited with Artemis and counts for more than 50% of total Deposited METIS.

Artemis offers METIS holders a streamlined opportunity to participate in the Decentralized Sequencer and earn profits. Simultaneously, participating users will receive a liquid wrapper called artMETIS, which automatically accumulates earnings. This single-wrapper mechanism provides a simpler and more unified user experience, eliminating the need for additional costs to incentivize liquidity across multiple wrappers. This approach makes it easier to build a robust DeFi usage scenario.

3. How to Deposit through Artemis Campaign Page with your Binance Wallet?

a. Open Artemis Campaign Page in Binance Wallet.

b. Input your METIS amount and click “Deposit & Lock”.

c. Your METIS will be Deposited on Metis Sequencers through Artemis Finance and you will receive artMETIS tokens which will be locked in the contract during the campaign period.

d. Please note that you can Deposit & lock multiple times during the campaign period. Each Deposite & lock call is called an action. Your final Deposit amount will be counted before the end of the campaign-2025-02-11 15:00 (UTC).

4.What can I earn if I join the campaign?

a. You will share a $300,000 campaign reward; The rewards will be distributed directly to users' MPC wallets within two weeks after the campaign ends.

b. You will earn the 20% APY Metis Sequencer staking reward. Liquid staking is not traditional staking. When you Deposit METIS, you won’t see a reward section or a Claim button on the interface. If you want to redeem artMETIS for METIS, you will receive more METIS than you originally Deposited. While you held artMETIS in your wallet, Artemis Finance worked tirelessly to increase the value of artMETIS;

c. You will earn the Artemis Points by holding artMetis (starting after unlocking your artMetis). You can view your Artemis Points here: https://artemisfinance.io/points;

5. How to get back METIS?

a. You can view your past actions along with the amount of artMetis, how long until the lock period is over for each action. You can choose to unlock the artMetis tokens for any action if the 21-day lock period has passed.

b. You can also view your current rank among other participants, and search for addresses.

c. Please note that the 21-day wait period is for each individual Deposit&lock action. After 21 days from a particular action has passed, the associated artMETIS token can be unlocked and returned to your wallet;

d. Then you can visit Artemis Deposit Page to redeem back your METIS token, your METIS holdings will increase compared to the beginning because it already adds up Metis Sequencer Reward.
