On-going Contract Upgrades

Metis recently embarked on a historic upgrade, marking the first instance of an Ethereum L2 solution decentralizing its sequencer. This long-awaited advancement is poised to reshape the landscape of Ethereum scalability and decentralization, positioning Metis as a trailblazer in the realm of blockchain technology. Some contract upgrades from Phase 1 of the historic upgrades are still taking place.

To ensure maximum security and seamless operations, we have advised CVP DApps with high-gas consumption contract deployments this week to postpone their launch a few days until these upgrades are completed. The #Metis dev team has been working overtime, and these upgrades should be completed within the next few days.
