The Metis Accelerate program offers milestone-based grants totaling $250,000 to support Web3 projects focused on user acquisition and ecosystem growth. Designed in three funding levels, the program initially awards five grants of $25,000, with additional funding for projects that demonstrate strong engagement and retention. Projects achieving Level 1 metrics, like user acquisition and transaction volume, can receive follow-up grants, while a top performer may earn a final $50,000 grant. This first-come, first-served program, open to all Web3 verticals, emphasizes transparency, measurable growth, and community collaboration, ensuring impactful contributions to the Metis ecosystem.

Metis has launched STARTathon, a 4-month program aimed at fostering Web3 innovation by supporting developers and entrepreneurs. Combining the speed of a hackathon with the sustained growth of an accelerator, STARTathon offers two tracks: a Global Track for developers worldwide and a Local Track for innovators in Asia, focusing on South Korea, Vietnam, and Japan. Participants can compete for $200,000 in METIS prizes across three bounty categories—Cross-Chain DeFi, Real World Asset Tokenization, and Tokenized Communities. The program’s milestone-based funding, transparent tracking via Thrive, and potential Gitcoin QF matching rounds provide participants with a clear path to growth and success on Metis.

The Metis GameFi Quantum Leap Accelerator Program has kicked off with its first cohort: Score Milk, Buzz, and Arena of Faith. This program, launched with support from ABGA and Google Cloud Web3, aims to boost GameFi innovation on Metis with a $10 million fund and extensive development resources. Score Milk focuses on eSports, Buzz brings Web3 GameFi to Telegram, and Arena of Faith, backed by Tencent, merges traditional gaming with blockchain features and rewards. Participants gain funding, mentorship, access to Metis’s Layer 2 network, and more. Applications for future cohorts are now open for interested developers.

Metis has onboarded TEB and B-Harvest to its Decentralized Sequencer network, now live on the Metis Mainnet with over 52,000 METIS locked since October 4th. DeFi Kingdoms' Colosseum has launched on Metis, introducing a new Player vs. Player experience where users can pit their Heroes against opponents or participate and earn as spectators. Players can pledge Heroes fir Influence, predict battle outcomes, and earn rewards. The Colosseum will offer even more excitement for players with upcoming tournaments and prize pools. And since its launch four weeks ago, the Colosseum has seen impressive usage, engagement and content creation, with much more to come.
