Metis Announces Strategic Partnership with PARSIQ
Building its stable of DeFi and infrastructure partners ahead of its June 15 Beta testnet launch, Metis is thrilled to announce its newest strategic partnership, with PARSIQ.
PARSIQ is a blockchain monitoring and workflow automation platform that serves as a multi-level bridge between blockchains and off-chain applications. In March, PARSIQ joined a group of investors that included OKEx Blockdream Ventures, DFG, Autonomy Capital, Master Ventures, Cryptomeria Capital, Gate.io, and others in a round of pre-IDO funding.
Today’s announcement establishes PARSIQ as a Metis technical and infrastructural partner as well. PARSIQ joins CasperLabs and Findora as technical infrastructure partners integrating with the Metis Layer 2 platform. Meanwhile, PARSIQ’s DeFi-rich list of partners will also benefit from Metis Layer 2, adding to a growing list of DeFi use-case collaborators that include Bagels Finance, OpenDeFi, Asteria, and Rozoj.
Metis + PARSIQ
Real-time transaction data and monitoring are crucial for many projects today. The Metis Layer 2 ecosystem will benefit from having access to PARSIQ’s data stream processing service.
The integration will also allow projects building on Metis Layer 2 to receive real-time data monitoring, providing better market activities analytics and additional security features, which are especially needed for DeFi projects.
Meanwhile, PARSIQ-supported projects will benefit from the huge increases in speed, functionality, scalability, and ease of use that the Metis Layer 2 rollup offers when compared to Ethereum Layer 1. In addition, Metis slashes the sky-high, highly volatile gas fees that come with building on Ethereum to just a couple of cents per transaction.
Commenting on the partnership, Metis CEO and Co-Founder Elena Sinelnikova said: “We’re excited to partner with a forward-thinking company like PARSIQ. With this partnership, both Metis and PARSIQ continue our respective commitments to better serve the DeFi community and the growth of promising DeFi projects.”
PARSIQ CEO Tom Tirman said: “Although we see great potential in the Ethereum network, there is definitely room for growth and improvement. What Metis is doing resonates with us, in trying to better the Ethereum Ecosystem and creating tools that people can actually use to build, without having extensive coding knowledge. This is a real project, doing things for real people for the betterment of both users and the ecosystem they are part of.”
About Metis
Based on the spirit of Optimistic Rollup, Metis is building an easy-to-use, highly scalable, low-cost, and fully functional Layer 2 framework (Metis Rollup) to fully support the application and business migration from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0. Its scalable protocol supports a wide range of use cases, including yield farming, DEX trading, and powering the gig economy via dApps that offer cheap and fast micropayments.
Metis integrates the Decentralized Autonomous Company (DAC) framework within its Layer 2 infrastructure, a differentiating factor that makes it easy for any developers, builders, or community leaders to build their applications and communities. It also makes it easy to use pre-set tools to facilitate their development, manage collaboration, and enjoy the network effects of the world’s largest decentralized finance ecosystem, without the costs and bottlenecks normally associated with Ethereum. Metis’ goal is to make building dApps and DACs on its platform so easy to do, even total blockchain novices can make it happen in a matter of minutes.
