Metis Advocates are a group of talented individuals from all over the world who can help grow our community, educate new members, and spread the word about Metis L2.

To accomplish our mission, we are always on the lookout for volunteers under the Metis Advocates program who can help us foster local communities, grow by our side, and help spearhead mass adoption in the blockchain world.

Aim: The program aims to create a one-stop solution for anyone who wants to begin their blockchain and web3 journey, and to support those already building in web3 and help them to bring their journey on Metis.

What is a Metis Advocate?

We welcome anyone who possesses the following qualities:

1. Strong leadership and communication skills
2. Passionate about blockchain and Metis
3. Technical skills are a plus, but not mandatory for consideration

Roles and Responsibilities of a Metis Advocate

There will be two types of advocates in the Metis Advocacy Program:

1. Metis Technical Advocate
2. Metis Community Advocate

*The title of the advocate will be decided after 30 days of onboarding.

Each of the advocates will be responsible for completing a list of bounties and engaging with communities periodically

Types of Bounties

1. Growth and Social Media (Content + Localization)
2. Events and Community
3. Technology

Levels of Advocates

After the onboarding of advocates, each of the advocates will get a tag. This “tag” will be an indicator of the advocate’s performance in the program.

For a participant to maintain their advocate title, he/she has to complete greater than or equal to 6 bounties.

Terms and Conditions of the Advocates Program

By completing the advocate sign-up form, users are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below:

1. They are 18 years old or older.

2. They do not have any authority to incur debt, obligation, or liability on behalf of the company.

3. Metis Foundation reserves the right in its sole discretion to restrict advocates who are inviting fraudulent or bulk-registered accounts.

4. Metis Foundation reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend or change or cancel this program at any time and for any reason without prior notice.

5. Metis Foundation reserves the right in its sole discretion to decide the winner of the rewards based on the participants’ performance throughout the program.

6. Metis Advocate is a volunteer position and doesn’t signify an employment or engagement contract with Metis Foundation in any way.

7. If Metis Foundation determines that an advocate engages in any damaging and/or defamatory behavior to Metis, then the advocate’s membership and qualification will be terminated.
