With an astounding turnout of over 150,000 contributors, we hit 3 million transactions on the Testnet, further enriching the Mainnet with over 1.5 million transactions. The feedback and valuable comments pouring in from our community have been invaluable, and we're committed to fine-tuning our system based on this input to keep soaring to new heights.

We're thrilled to announce that the season 2 of community testing for the decentralized sequencer will be launched on Monday,February 5! We will announce the new Dapps that will participate in this season along with the launch of the community testing season 2. There will be more ways for our users to earn more XP points and the gamification to claim your reward. Don't worry, we’ll be providing you with a comprehensive guide on everything you need to know for the community testing season 2.
Metis has announced the launch of the Metis Ecosystem Development Fund (MetisEDF), which is worth $100 million. The purpose of the fund is to speed up the development of all dApps sectors within the Metis ecosystem. The fund will distribute 4.6 million METIS tokens for various purposes, with the distribution of 250,000 Metis as grants scheduled for 2024, aligning with the launch of Metis decentralized sequencer.
